Features of artistic expression of the image “garden” in the works of Russian and Tatar poets: The second half of the twentieth century


Based on the works of Khasan Tufan, Ildar Yuzeev, Renat Kharis and Zulfat, the article studies the features of the artistic expression of the image “garden” in the works of the Russian-speaking poet and writer Ravil Bukharaev and the Tatar poets of the second half of the 20th century. For a long time, Ravil Bukharaev lived away from home, in England. For him the image “garden” is associated with his motherland and his native language, from which the poet was feeling very keenly his separation. At the same time, the image of the garden in Ravil Bukharaev’s work is closely connected with the problem of seeking one’s place in life and in society by a poet, a man. This problem is reflected in his poems “Omaroman”, “Praying for the Cup”, “The Time of Flowers”. The motif of spiritual orphanhood permeates many of Bukharaev's poetic works.

Modern Tartar poets, living in their historical homeland, are deeply rooted in their native literature and culture, their expression of the image “garden” is characterized by the similarities and differences associated with the choice of artistic means, with a specific world view, determined by their attitude to the traditions of the East and Western Europe, including Sufi poetry. This is the relevance and novelty of our research, the main results of which are set forth in this article.
