AGE-DEPRNDENT INFLUENCE OF DOPAMINE ON MYOCARDIAL CONTRACTILITY IN RATS

Abstract:

In this article we examine the effect different concentrations of dopamine have on the force of contraction of myocardium of the rats in ontogenesis. At low concentrations (10-9 М), dopamine produces positive inotropic effect while high concentrations (10-6-10-7 М) have negative inotropic effect on the heart in rats.

Key words:

dopamine, dopamine receptors, heart, ontogeny.
