JONATHAN SAFRAN FOER’S "LAUGH THROUGH TEARS"

Abstract: 

In this article we have analyzed two novels by a young and famous American author Jonathan Safran Foer Everything is Illuminated and Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. A typical feature of Foer’s prose is the synthesis of tragic and comic. He widely uses different types of postmodern play and tragic farce, and at the same time follows the traditions of American literature.
