NATIONAL TOPONYMS IN TATAR ADVERTISEMENTS

Abstract: 

The article focuses on functioning of the toponyms Tatarstan and Kazan in national advertisements. Functioning possibilities of proper names in advertising are wide-ranging. National toponyms have obvious patriotic connotation. Toponyms Tatarstan and Kazan are the symbols of national identity, thus they stimulate in the recipient associative links with language, history and culture of the Tatar people.
