A NEW METHOD OF DETERMINING THE POSITION OF CENTRE OF MASS OF THE MOON

Abstract: 

This paper presents a new method for determining the position of centre of mass of the Moon relative to its centre of a figure based on the direct use of lunar catalog Kazan-1162, built in the center of mass and principal axes of inertia of the Moon. The coordinates of the identifiable objects are located in this directory approximately uniformly over the entire surface of the Moon. As a result, the authors found out that Kazan directory for the visible side of the Moon, cast to the center of mass and principal axes of inertia of the Moon, the sharing of objects outside its scope from the list of space missions "Clementine", correlate closely with the results of recent research in this area.
