IS COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL ABLE TO PROVIDE PROPER EDUCATION OF GIFTED AND TALENTED STUDENTS? (ENGLISH-SPEAKING COUNTRIES’ PRACTICES)

Abstract: 

Research carried out in English-speaking countries shows that majority of gifted and talented students spend most of their day in comprehensive schools. In search of better educational facilities we studied some of the strategies that allow the differentiation of curriculum and assessment of these students in comprehensive schools, paying special attention to the changing role of the teacher in the learning process.
