Patriotic education of gifted students in a learning environment of a school museum complex


The article deals with patriotic education of gifted students by means of museum pedagogy and analyzes key problems and their causes in the organization of this educational activity. The authors present theoretical foundations of the possibilities that museum pedagogy and the museum learning environment provide in the sphere of patriotic education: museum exhibits, museum exhibitions and forms of museum communication. It emphasizes the role of project-making in educational practices, which enables teachers to realize the principle of polysensory acquisition of knowledge. The article also describes the technology of project-making. Of particular value is the description of specific pedagogical experiences related to patriotic education of gifted students by means of the museum learning environment in the framework of a school museum complex.
