Monitoring professional pedagogical upbringing of students in higher education


This article discusses a monitoring function of professional pedagogical upbringing based on a systemic-functional analysis of its place and the role which realization of upbringing potential of teacher education plays. The article also defines its structure, consisting of three major sub-functions: diagnostic, analytical, and corrective. The characteristic features of monitoring in the sphere of professional pedagogical upbringing are determined by their place in the overall structure of the practical realization of upbringing potential of teacher education, as well as by the specifics of the structure and content of this process. These all allowed us to determine its principles and approaches to the implementation of this process and its main stages.
