Verbalization of the concept “learning” in Russian and Chinese paroemias


The article analyzes axiological characteristics of the concept of "learning" in Russian and Chinese paroemias, defines specific ways of its verbalization, and explores stylistic approaches employed in paroemias. Besides, the edifying meanings and practical significance of paroemias are revealed. The comparison of paroemias enables to identify the versatility and ethnicity-specific differences between the two peoples as well as their national characteristic features and cultural particularities reflected in the language.
