Concept as a mechanism for interrelation between subject and metasubject knowledge in teaching literature

Abstract: 

The authors define the concept as the most effective mechanism for interrelation between subject and metasubject knowledge in teaching literature. The article notes that notions, based on the concept, belong to the area of knowledge, while cultural meanings and individual associations make the metasubject content of the concept. The article discusses three stages of the concept development illustrated by the block of lessons and specifies instructional techniques used to realize the interrelation of subject and metasubject-knowledge.
