Typology of subcode transitions in the activity of a linguistic professional personality

Abstract: 

The article examines extra-linguistic factors in the classification of a linguistic professional personality. The author characterizes a linguistic professional personality by using the features of subcode switching at perception of professional speech. The article analyzes the criteria for identifying functional styles and discusses conceptual and structural aspects of the functional style in the sphere of professional communication. It also describes the phenomenon of subcode switching based on the characteristics of higher nervous activity.
