The paper explores the process of convergence of literature and cinema in the 1920-ies basing on the «LEF» association works. The evolution of the «LEF» caused by the change of theoretical ideas (from the «life-building-art» to the «literature of fact») is analyzed. This analysis reveals the interconnection of non-fiction and cinematography in the «LEF» creative work.
