HISTORICAL FACTOGRAPHY IN THE NOVEL «THE FLIGHT FROM THE ENCHANTER» BY IRIS MURDOCH

Abstract: 

The second half of the 20th century is a period of great political and ideological contradictions which form a documentary basis for the literary creativity of many writers. The article deals with the novel The Flight from the Enchanter by A. Murdoch, in which real events, such as immigration to England and a feministic society, provide the basis for the plot and play an important role in the artistic structure of the novel.
