BENEFITS AND RISKS OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE STUDENTS’ TRAINING AT NON-STATE INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION

Abstract: 

This article describes the dynamics of private universities, and reveals the features of organization of foreign language training in a private university focusing on its benefits. Foreign language training is considered on the basis of student-active approach, including the development of the communicative competence components: social, sociolinguistic, linguistic, strategic, discursive and socio-cultural ones. The benefits and risks of the private sector in education are assessed with Russia entering the international market of educational services.
